Our monthly Overbrook Library Board meeting will be held on the 2nd Monday of December (12/13/21) at 6pm in the Community Room, instead of its normally scheduled date due to the holidays.

Summer reading is returning, with sign-ups beginning May 25th and activities starting the week of May 31st for children from 3 years old through 8th grade. Come by and sign up and start tracking all your reading this summer!

This year we will be doing smaller in person activities in addition to tracking reading and providing prizes for hitting reading goals.

We will have all-ages summer reading themed movie afternoons in the Community room on June 8th & June 22nd @ 4pm (July dates TBD), Story Time every Wednesday morning at 10:15am for younger children, and every Thursday June 3rd – July 22nd there will be a drop-in activity or craft for kids to do available any time during library hours.

Overbrook Library will be resuming our in person Story Time for young children on Wednesday May 5th @ 10:15 AM.

We plan to return to our normal schedule of Story Time every Wednesday morning @ 10:15 from that point forward.

Friends of the library are now taking new and renewal memberships for the year 2021.  Though COVID has slowed us down, we continue to be active in supporting the library. Thank you

The library will be closed Wed. 2/17 due to the water outage. If water is restored early in the day we may do a late opening, and any updates will be available on this page.

The Overbrook Public Library will remain closed Tuesday 2/16 due to winter weather conditions.

We are back open for business as of Monday morning 1/11/21 @10am. We will be back to our regular hours all this week.

Due to a positive test of another staff member, the library WILL NOT reopen 1/6 and THE LIBRARY WILL REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

We are hopeful that we will be able to reopen sometime next week barring any additional cases. We will update the website / facebook with more information as we have it.
