Change in Board Meeting Time

The Overbrook Public Library Board meeting on Monday 1/8/18 is moving from 7PM to 6PM in the library conference room. Also HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELVIS PRESLEY born Jan. 8th 1935!    

Library Closing For New Year’s Day

We know you’ll all want to start out 2018 with a trip to the library, but Overbrook Library will be CLOSED Monday, January 1st. We will look forward to seeing you all for the first time of the new year on Tuesday, January 2nd, when we will be open our normal hours (10am-6pm).

Tis the Season for a good book!

Come down to the library and grab a book or movie to help you stay out of the cold.   While you’re here, check out the collection of Christmas Houses currently on display in our Community Showcase!

Library Board Meeting Change!

Due to board conflicts, we are moving the upcoming Library Board meeting for December, from December 11 to Tuesday, December 12th at 7pm in the Library Conference Room.

A Little Elf Told Me It’s Almost Time For Holiday Baking

Our local Elf has been searching the recipe books for the perfect treats and the Overbrook Library has many holiday bakeware items to make yours special. Stop by and take a look.  And grab an Elf treat recipe card while you’re here.

HALLOWEEN PARTY!

Looking for some family fun this Halloween? Bring your kids down to the library MONDAY, OCTOBER 30 from 5:30-7:30 PM for our I SPY Halloween party. There will be balloons, face painting, treats and fun! No bones about it, it will be a scary good time! Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

October Community Showcase Display!

Friends of the Library Soup Supper / Dessert Auction

The Friends of the Library will be having a soup supper and dessert auction on Saturday, September 23rd @ 5:30pm and are looking for volunteers to provide soup / desserts for the event. If you would like to contribute, please contact Mary Anderson!
